Cashmates will collect some information from users, but all information will only be collected for the loan service.

• Your mobile phone number. Used to register for a Cashmates account and subsequent contact with you for our loan approval and recovery.

• Your personal information relating to you. Contains information such as gender, age, and income, which is used for credit scoring and to confirm access to loan products.

• Your emergency contact. You agree that Cashmates can contact emergency contacts via SMS, or the information you filled in. With the emergency contact list you provide, Cashmates can make a legitimate loan approval or loan recovery if you can not be contacted in person.

• Your collection account information. So that once the loan is approved, you will receive the loan funds promptly.

2.2 Sensitive Information

SMS

  • Why We Collect: In order to be able to accurately assess your creditworthiness, fraud risk and repayment ability, we review in detail the sender's identity, the nature of the transaction and the monetary value of each transaction for loan assessment purposes.
  • What We Collect: We only collect SMS messages related to financial and bank statements, including information about the sender of the SMS, the recipient of the SMS, the content of the SMS, and the time when the SMS was sent. Of course, we will only access your SMS if you agree to authorise it.
  • How We Deal: All data will be uploaded to Cash Mates servers (https://android.cashmates.vip ) through encrypted means, and we also promise not to share the data with any third parties.

Device Information

  • Why We Collect: To ensure that you are uniquely identified with your device information to prevent device theft or fraud, and to make your profile clearer for quick loan approval.
  • What We Collect: We collect and monitor only a portion of your device information, including operating system, IMEI number, Android version, screen size, Wi-Fi information, hardware usage information (such as battery usage), and advertising identifiers assigned by third-party service providers.
  • How We Deal: We will protect your personal information and transmit the data encrypted to our servers (https://android.cashmates.vip). We are committed to not sharing this information with any third parties.

Contact List

  • Why We Collect: In order to help you quickly enter your emergency contact details, it helps us to get in touch with you if we are unable to contact you directly. This helps us to approve loan applications and reduce credit risk.
  • What We Collect: We will only be able to access specific contact information, including contact names and mobile phone numbers, if you have given us permission to do so. To be clear, we do not have access to all of your contact information.
  • How We Deal: We transmit securely to the Cash Mates servers (https://android.cashmates.vip) and please be assured that we will never disclose this information to any third party without your express consent.

Album Pictures

  • Why We Collect: In order to be able to visualise the problems you are experiencing with the app and to help us respond quickly to your feedback and solve your problems, with the aim of providing you with a better service.
  • What We Collect: We will only access your albums if you voluntarily agree to this and will only upload specific photos of your choosing for the purpose of analysing and dealing with problems encountered when using the app.
  • How We Deal: Uploads to our servers (https://android.cashmates.vip) are encrypted to ensure your data is secure and we promise not to share data with third parties.

We pledge to transmit your personal information to our server ( https://android.cashmates.vip) in an encrypted manner. In this Privacy Policy, "Account" refers to the unique account created for you to access our service or certain parts of our service. "Application" refers to Cash Mates. "Cookies" are small files placed on your computer, mobile device, or any other device by a website containing details of your browsing history on that website. "Country" means Uganda. "Device" means any device that can access the service, such as a computer, phone, or digital tablet. "Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. "Service" refers to the application or website or both.

Your Personal Information may be transferred to, stored, used and processed in a jurisdiction other than your home nation or otherwise in the country, state and city in which you are present while using any Service provided by us (“Alternate Country”), to companies Cashmates under Our group which are located outside of your home nation or Alternate Country and/or where Our Cashmates group’s servers and/or service providers and partners are located outside of your home nation or Alternate Country.

In such a case, we shall ensure that such personal information remains subject to a level of protection comparable to what is required under the Uganda Laws (and, in any event, in line with our commitments in this Privacy Policy).

You understand and hereby consent to the transfer of your Personal Information out of your home nation or Alternate Country as described herein.
